My Story

I was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, a city with a strong rock music culture and a deep appreciation for live music. Some of my earliest musical memories came from watching legendary bands perform live, including Chicago, Toto, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, The Rolling Stones, Earth, Wind & Fire, Santana, and many others.

Those experiences shaped my musical taste and, eventually, created the desire to learn an instrument myself. I started playing drums at the age of nine.

Since then, I have had the opportunity to play in theatres, hotels, events, and many different musical settings. Coming from a family of musicians also played an important role in my life.

Music was often something very natural: I would find myself playing with relatives and friends simply because we loved making music together. For many years, music was both a hobby and a passion.

More recently, I decided to open that part of my life to others and share what I have learned through my drum and percussion lessons.

My Musical World

My musical taste has always been broad. I enjoy everything from classical music and classic rock to hard rock, metal, disco, funk, smooth jazz, reggae, fusion, synthwave, and, of course, a touch of Latin music.

I believe that listening to different styles makes you a better musician. Every genre has something to teach you about rhythm, dynamics, phrasing, groove, sound, and musical expression.
